Our Main Dishes
Tanmia Filet Halves, cut to smaller pieces
½ cup Lemon juice
1 ¼ cup yogurt
1/3 cup onions
1 Garlic cloves
1 tsp Fresh ginger
2 tsp Gram masala spices
1 tbsp Tomato paste
Hot pepper, salt, turmeric (To taste and demand )
Chopped coriander, lemon slices for garnish
Sprinkle Tanmia Filet pieces with salt and lemon juice. Put aside for 20 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine yogurt, chopped onion, crushed garlic, grated ginger, gram masala spices and pepper, then mix until smooth. Add tomato paste and turmeric.
Add yogurt mixture over the Filet pieces and then put it in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours.
Grill on the barbecue or in “tandour”on medium heat
Garnish the dish with coriander and lemon slices.
We serve the dish with basmati rice.
